08.06.2000 The resolution to found The Arbitration Tribunal for the legal disputes in The Internet was adopted at the working meeting last week.

The leading lawyers engaged in legal regulation of The Network attended the meeting and formed four working groups to complete final documents and regulations of The Arbitration Tribunal for Internet legal disputes. The provisional papers prepared by Alexey Popov, advocate, the expert of Law Office of Alexander Glushenkov, were accepted as the basic theses. The experts of The Law Office were included in three working groups: (1) the group of completing of The General Statute, trial procedure rules and arbitration dues; (2) the group of working out of an arbitration clause for inclusion to the rules currently in force and contracts; (3) the group of making the requisition for the grant. The Arbitration Tribunal will resolve disputes referred to domain names, relations between Internet providers and their clients, copyrights in Internet and other legal problems concerning the using of The World Wide Web.
